I know it’s a MR-S, but it’s close enough.

They’re starting to get eligible for import, right? More expensive than the equivalent Miata, but still not bound to break the bank.

We have a 15 year import rule, so some are starting appear on the used market. Is the Miata a better car? Maybe, but you buy a MR2 because the engine is in the middle.

I barely fit in the NB, so it wasn’t a choice I had to make. Having the engine behind you does feel great indeed!

MR2 is lighter (2100lbs) and has a more open passenger cabin (seriously there’s a ton of room in there) than the NB. But you have like zero storage space. The only thing you have is medium sized cubby hole things behind the seats.

Don’t forget the frunk! Quite a lot of (impractically shaped) room if you ditch the spare tire.
